Decorators: Getting Started

This page is specifically written for staff who are decorating to help them get started. I will have a general list of whats out there and will keep it up to date.

When we are working decorating a particular map or area as a group its fine to go and work on side things. Like if one of the other GM’s has a particular dungeon they are working on its fine to deviate and go work on that. Etc.

Map2 Lone Islands -

The primary place we want to be working on right now is Map2 Lone Islands. Double click you [Staff Moongate Lantern] and pick [Lone Islands] > any of the towns. Will send you to map2

Next, pull up the forums... In the [Dev Forums], under [Map2 Lone Islands], there is a thread called Time to Spawn & Decorate !!!! (Old Ilshenar map).

In that thread there is a bunch of info on spawning the main map2 and the dungeons. This Map2 is going to be heavily used and will have a player town (Narrowhaven). We are mostly waiting on the player town until more of the map is spawned & dungeons are decorated & spawned. You can pick any dungeon or any of the map you want and start working on it.

On Ice Iland – Map1 (Kingdom of britannia) > type [go 4136 408 0

You’ll find a big ruins thing with a large custom cave to the left. That place still needs decorating. It’s a goblin dungeon. The outside runs was going to be turned into a little outpost were you could talk and trade with the goblins.

Lastly, the Dungeon Maps (map3 & map4) –

Double click you [Staff Moongate Lantern] and pick [Dungeon Map1] or [Dungeon Map2] > [go 115 31 0. You will get sent to those two maps. Those two maps are 100% dungeons. Monsters have a chance of dropping scrolls. Player can get the scrolls or some times buy them. They click the scroll and it opens a portal to a hidden/lost dungeon. Then the player & their friends can go hunt in that dungeons. You can only get to each dungeon if you have one of the scrolls! Right now there is one dungeon started [Dungeon Map1] in the top left hand corner. Its not quite done yet. You can decorate & spawn anything in there you want.

If you have any questions on how to spawn please ask me, trance, Orlando/Leonheart or one of the other GM’s that already knows how to spawn.

Lastly, as you decorate & spawn a area please don’t forget to post the [where cords so we an keep track of it!! ;o)
